The menu is a celebration of Greek cuisine, filled with vibrant flavors and locally sourced produce. Each dish tells a story of Greece's diverse culinary heritage, blending traditional techniques with a modern touch.

One of the standout items on the menu is the souvlaki, which is served with a perfect balance of tender meat and smoky, charred edges. The marinated chicken or pork is expertly grilled, then served on a skewer with fresh vegetables and pita bread. Paired with a side of creamy tzatziki sauce, it’s a dish that captures the essence of Greek comfort food.

For those who prefer a heartier meal, the moussaka is an excellent choice. This classic Greek casserole is layered with eggplant, minced meat, and béchamel sauce, creating a warm and indulgent dish that’s both comforting and satisfying. The flavors are rich and well-balanced, making it a must-try for anyone who appreciates traditional Greek fare.

Vegetarian options at Tastes Of Greece are just as impressive, with the horiatiki salad standing out as a fresh and vibrant dish. Made with ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, Kalamata olives, and a generous serving of feta cheese, this Greek salad is a perfect choice for those looking for something light and refreshing. The dressing, made from extra virgin olive oil, adds a touch of richness without overpowering the natural flavors of the ingredients.

Seafood lovers will also find plenty to enjoy. The grilled octopus is particularly noteworthy, cooked to perfection with a smoky char and served with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice. It's a simple yet flavorful dish that highlights the freshness of the seafood, offering a taste of Greece’s coastal regions.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, offering recommendations based on your preferences. Whether you're indulging in a leisurely lunch or enjoying a festive dinner with friends, the service adds to the overall experience, making it even more memorable.

  • Perfect place to discover Greek cuisine. Friendly staff, tasty dishes and the variety of choice is satisfying for every foodie. Once in a while they organise evenings with Greek music - the atmosphere is indescribable. We ate here every second day during our stay in Polichrono and can definitely recommend. The prices are okay - not the lowest, not the highest. I would say they are absolutely adequate regarding the taste and the mood created by the owner. Come and try, keep an open mind! Some people complain about the direct and playful way the staff refers to the guests - this is Greece people, come out of your shell and enjoy!

  • The restaurant has very fair and low food prices, I paid much more two years ago in some other places. We reserved a table for greek music night and it was really fantastic. The food was fresh, the fish so perfectly grilled, juicy and tasteful. Although the restaurant was full, we didn’t wait longer as 10 mins for the food. I couldn’t find any remarks, I can only say “Bravo”, and keep up the good work!

  • The food and the prices are very good. It's near the beach and after 2 years we came back and it's as good as the first time. Services is the best. Recommended

  • We were there for dinner and everything was perfect, staff were friendly. It is first restaurant in Halkidiki someone asked me if I want bread or not All other restaurants puts water and bread and changes you. So I surprised in this restaurant in a good way. Prices are also quite good compared with other restaurants here. Foods were so delicious, as a starter fried eggplant and “bayildi”, as a main course “sea bream fish” and also “chicken soup” all were great, especially “bayildi” was amazing. Highly recommend

  • We visited the place for a dinner on Wednesday at 20:00 pm and it was quite. Some of the reviews were stating that there's live greek music on Wed but the waiter said it's on Saturday. Anyway, we stayed and ordered Tsipura (Sea bream) - comes with patatoes & baby carrots, Grilled Kalmari (Squid), spagetti Bolognese, draft beer, glass of house rose and a bottle of water. The fish and squid were cooked well and very tasty. The spagetti were so-so (no tomato sauce in it, just means). Some of the potatoes in the dish were warm, others cold - most probably cooked in advanced. Otherwise, the service was good, menu is offered in different languages and our waiter was very helpful (serbian guy). Prices are reasonable and we received complimentary 3 mini ice creams with the bill. We paid 50 euro for all that, so nothing to complaint.

  • I trusted the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The food is great!

  • We had sea bass, which was perfectly grilled and truly delicious – definitely the highlight of our visit. However, the non-alcoholic beer was a disappointment, as it wasn’t 100% alcohol-free (0.3%), even though we were assured it was. Since my wife is pregnant, we specifically asked for completely alcohol-free, so this was quite misleading. The service (owner/shift manager) was polite and eager but not very attentive. Our empty plates stayed on the table for about 25 minutes, and we had to call him over ourselves to clear them and bring the bill. The garnish was average – thawed potatoes – and many dishes on the menu were marked as frozen semi-finished products, which was not what we expected from a Greek restaurant. On the positive side, after paying, guests receive an ice cream as a small gesture from the house. Overall, the fish was so good that we would come back for it, but we expected more authentic Greek specialties and a bit more attentive service.

  • It is a good restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was very good and at the end we received an icecream from the house. The location is not far away from the beach, the terrace has a great view from where you can admire local buildings. We saw also a poster at the entrance that in some evenings they have live music and in one evening we even saw people dancing there and having a great time. I recommend this place.
